A gigantic fish weighing more than 0.3 tons has been caught in Chinese waters, sources reported on Friday.
The fish, scientific name Epinephelus tsirimenara, was 2.65 meters long, and weighed 341.5 kilograms.
Scientists said the fish, caught near the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea, was about 20 years old.
The fish was photographed in front of a restaurant in Dongguan-shi, Guangdong Province. It is estimated the fish would feed about 800 people.
