Many people are suffering from stress-induced headaches. Headaches exhaust the mind and body and affect the interaction between people.

Research shows consuming oxytocin, also known as the “love hormone,” can reduce the pain from headaches.

Oxytocin is often produced when two people form a relationship. Because it boosts trust and strengthens bonds, oxytocin has also been called “Love’s miracle drug.”

Research conducted by Stanford Medical School studied patients who suffered headaches at least 15 times a month. The results found oxytocin helped reduce the pain caused by headaches.

Oxytocin had the same effect when sprayed onto the patients. It influences people’s emotions and is naturally released in the body when someone falls in love.

It seems falling in love can lessen both physical and emotional pain.
