The world is full of records, many of which are recorded by an organization called Guinness, and this one appropriately involves Christmas now less than a month away.
According to a posting on the internet, 852 students woke up in Bangkok on Nov. 22 and decided to create the worl’s largest human Christmas tree.
They congregated in front of a busy shopping arcade and went into formation in 15 minutes and 29 seconds, demolishing the previous Guinness record established in 2011 by a meager 672 participants.
Pictures of the students getting into tree formation were immediately posted on the internet and the final “product” was recognized as a record by Guinness.
Among the blogs that followed the postings included, “Can you imagine the practice that went into getting that done?” and “It is out of this world and worth the challenge.”
There have been lots of activities around the world signaling the onset of the Christmas and the holiday season.
In one instance, the Richards family, including their three beautiful children, decorated their home in Canberra, Australia with no less than 500,000 light bulbs, breaking the world’s record and climbing the way to collecting Australian $100,000 in charity for a children’s support foundation.
